A vendor would run the businesses listed below. The land would run
from the first fence to Hester Street, but there would be a fence
separating the recommendations listed below and the physical therapy
facility.
Suggestion 1
The land may be used for an outdoor pool in the warm weather. In the
winter it can be covered with a temporary structure to allow its use
all year. A life guard should be on duty. The structure should be
heated during the cold weather. Of course, the pool may exist on its
own and only used in the warm weather.
The pool could be covered when not in use and the facility could be
used for another recreational purpose, possibly ice skating. That
might be expensive. A fee will be charged for use of the above. A
vendor may operate the facility. The pool and ice skating may be used
outside, possibly with some heating around.
Suggestion 2
A building can be constructed on the land which may allow swimming.
If swimming is available a life guard should be on duty. Upstairs
there can be bowling alleys and/or a gym and/or other recreational
facilities. It may also contain an ice skating rink. A fee will be
charged to use the facility.
Suggestion 3
The land can be used as a restaurant that has entertainment. A vendor
would rent it. There could be indoor and outdoor dining.
Suggestion 4
The land can be sold to a Developer to use for the construction of
businesses or apartments. We may have to get a city waiver for this.
It may be possible for us to handle the construction.
Suggestion 5
There could be a restaurant and outdoor activity, such as ice skating,
or even a museum. |
