DESIGN #3 - 1100 - INTERIOR VIEW OF LOBBY AND SEATING AREA



The existing, freestanding columns are softened by rounding off their edges and resurfacing htem with architectural plaster. The reception desk is fashioned out of an oak veneer, fitted with a translucent resin surface; its organic shape ties in with the newly resurfaced coluns. Centrally located within freestanding columns, the desk is large enough to accomodate residents' packages. A sensation of warmth is realized through the placement of area rugs and comfortable, upholstered seating for residents and their guests. The overall feel fo the space is welcoming, organic and comfortable.
