DESIGN #3 - 1100 - EXTERIOR VIEW OF MAIN ENTRANCE



An open and inviting metal canopy announces the building's entrance. Randomly placed luninous slots enhance the canopy's surface, while lighting the paths of those entering and leaving the building. As people approach the building from an oblique angle, we position way-finding signage at entry points of the pathways. Additional signage appears on the fin walls of the extended vestibule. These walls also serve to conceal two structural columns, combining them as one solid element. The interior portion of the wall houses a new building directory and intercome system.
